Because it looks like shit. Well, NOW it does. Shame, the C4 is my favorite, especially the ruby 40th Ann. Followed closely by a C5 Z06 in blue.

Look me in the eye and tell me you like both the C4 and the C5 better than the C7.
Do it.

I hope so. They are a dime a dozen, but there's very little info on this one. Most media is going ga ga over the ZR-1 starting up and driving off.

C5 can go away, but I do like the C4 more than the C7.

I didn't even know they pulled anything out other than the ZR-1.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the C4.
When I was learning to drive, I had 4 big milestones.
One was the first time behind the wheel. On the highway in my dad's S class Diesel
Two was getting my first car.
Three was learning to drive stick in a 66 VW bug (sadly it was stolen a couple years ago)
and Four was two days after driving that bug, I got stuck in a red C4 vette and felt what v8 "power" and a five speed can do.
That was the first "powerful" car I got behind the wheel of. Sure I've driven better, faster, stronger cars. But barely 16 in a corvette of any kind, hard to beat with humble beginnings.

Oh my... so that's how my car would look like if it were to end up in a sinkhole... Scary shit. Honestly a vision of nightmare for me lol

I will say every vette before the C7 is better looking.

I like the C4 more than the C7 because it is more balanced overall. The C5 started the J Lo rear end trend and ripped off too much from RX7 and NSX... The C7's ass end is designed by Gene Simmons. The front and sides of the C7 though. Pretty hot. The only thing that I dislike about the front and sides are the flat vertical surfaces around the wheel wells. I prefer flare to vertical surfaces there, like the C4. BTW, I do own a C5... (and a Mid Year). The C4 was the last Corvette designed that set the trend Vs. following one as far as designs go.

I have to say, the C7 is a really pretty car but the C5 is going to age better than the C6 and most likely C7. Other than the interior, the C5 is almost timeless and the C5Z is the possibly most hard-edged modern vette out there.

So many reputable opponauts thinking the C7, I'm so sad.

I get the feeling that they're gonna look progressively worse the deeper they dig. This one got off fairly lightly IMO

Scared for the 1983 Corvette... The only one really impossible to replace I think.
